Numerous via ferrata courses and climbing parks in the holiday region of Mayrhofen-Hippach offer the challenge you are looking for with various trails (for beginning, advanced, and professional climbers).
The "Ewigen Jagdgründen" (eternal hunting grounds) have two approx. 60-m tall granite boulders with safety hooks. At a difficulty level between 4 and 10, they are some of the most beautiful in Europe.
Penken Mountain has two climbing areas with levels of difficulty between 4 and 8+. In addition, a via ferrata course offers beginners the opportunity to give climbing a try. You can borrow the appropriate equipment for free at the mountain station of the Penken Kombibahn (combined gondola and chair lift).
